3. Revising - Remember ARMS
Now that you have written the first draft of your friendly letter persuading your parents to either recycle or not, it's time to make your writing a little better by revising. When we revise, we improve our writing by making sure everything makes sense and adding vivid words (Think: THESAURUS). Remember everything we've learned about sensory details, showing vs. telling, and figurative language.

Once you have used ARMS and the checklist above to revise the rough draft of your letter, you may move on to step four of the writing process: Editing.
